Summary

When you want to discuss Bollinger bands you should go no further than the creator John Bollinger of Bollinger Capital Management. The Band Width Indicator was created by John Bollinger to see trending faster than the ADX.

Usage

The Band Width Indicator is a measure of a trend. It will move earlier, as well as reset itself earlier, than the ADX. When the Band Width Indicator is low there is no trend; however, when there is a positive slope, look out as it is indicating a trend.
