Confluence Indicator

Saturday 5 July 2008 @ 4:07 pm

Summary

The Confluence Indicator was first proposed by Dale Legan in 1998 on the now defunct Omega List. The code that follows is a capture of the Confluence Indicator, as best as we could.

Usage

The Confluence Indicator, I feel is wrongly named because it is really a strategy that is being developed, and should really be named the Confluence Strategy, but it is what it is, so I won't try to rock the boat on this one. There are 2 inputs to the Confluence Indicator, Harmonics and Triggers. The Harmonics appear to be a cycle dependency, and the trigger appears to be a buy / sell trigger value. Play with the optimizations to get a better feel for what they do and how they react to different market conditions. There is also an aggregate stop value that can increment your stop points for you if you want to try to squeeze out a bit more profit.
