The Cosine IFM Indicator is another great indicator given to us by John Ehlhers. The purpose of the Cosine IFM indicator is to measure cycles in the stock market, and is a variation of other cycle measuring indicators, including his I-Q IFM

Summary
The Confluence Indicator was first proposed by Dale Legan in 1998 on the now defunct Omega List. The code that follows is a capture of the Confluence Indicator, as best as we could.
Screen Shots
Usage
The Confluence Indicator, I feel is wrongly named because it is really a strategy that is being developed, and should really be named the Confluence Strategy, but it is what it is, so I won't try to rock the boat on this one. There are 2 inputs to the Confluence Indicator, Harmonics and Triggers. The Harmonics appear to be a cycle dependency, and the trigger appears to be a buy / sell trigger value. Play with the optimizations to get a better feel for what they do and how they react to different market conditions. There is also an aggregate stop value that can increment your stop points for you if you want to try to squeeze out a bit more profit.

This is a cute little indicator that calculates the connecting close from one day to the next in a close-only chart.

This isn't so much of an indicator, as it is an enhanced visual representation of connecting closing prices together. If anyone has any extra information on this indicator, please leave a comment below.

This is a part II of Tushar Chande's RAVI indicator from his book "Beyond Technical Analysis"
Screen Shots
Usage
Tushar Chandes RAVI Indicator (Part II) gives remarkable results, yet very similar to his RAVI Indicator (Part I). As with the Part I version of his RAVI Indicator, I felt the need to modify the threshold to something different from 3%.

Summary
This is Tushar Chande's RAVI Indicator (Part I) from his book "Beyond Technical Analysis"

Usage
Chandes RAVI indicator is a great trending indicator for stocks and equities. Tushar Chande describes a 3% line, that if the indicator crosses over this line, it is considered trending, either in a bullish or a bearish manner. The RAVI indicator doesn't know the direction of the trend (as is common of most trending indicators), but can tell you that it is a trend. I've found that for Forex and Currencies, 3% is too high, so I've added an input variable to the RAVI Indicator so that you can change the percentage value. I've found 1 1/2 - 2 % to be very good indicator values for the RAVI.
